Return and Refund Policy

Cancelling your order if you changed your mind  

Only items purchased on the SLMD Skincare Website can be returned to us for refund. Items purchased in a retailer store or elsewhere must be returned to their original point of purchase.

We are unable to intercept or make any changes to an order once it has been placed and processed by our warehouse. All orders are processed as soon as they are submitted to get your order on its way as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can return your order for a full refund. Original shipping charges and shipping charges incurred in connection with the return are generally non-refundable, other than as set out in paragraph 8 below.

Products purchased from SLMD Skincare website can be returned to our facility within 60 days of the original purchase. To be eligible for a return, please review the following requirements for online purchases:

• The product must be returned within the 60 days of the original order date. Returns made beyond the following time limit will be refused and mailed back to the shipping address on the original order

• We require the complete system or bundle to be returned together. Incomplete bundles or kits will not be eligible for a refund.

• The product is to be returned in the original packaging, unused, undamaged and with all original seals attached.

• A receipt or proof of purchase must be included with the return to properly file a refund. The proof of purchase may be the packing slip or a printed copy of the order confirmation.

Unfortunately SLMD Skincare cannot accept returns, or issue refunds, on opened or used Products (e.g. Products that were sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, if you have unsealed them after receipt). Everyone’s skin is different, and we cannot guarantee our Products will work for each individual customer’s needs. Our Products use dermatologist-recommended ingredients, that may not always be compatible with all skin types. We do our best to provide extensive information about our Products and ingredients so that customers may make informed decisions prior to making their purchase. We also recommend that customers test a small area of skin prior to applying to the entire affected area to ensure no irritation occurs. If you believe you may have experienced an allergic reaction to one of our Products, please take a photo and contact ukservice@slmdskincare.com for more information.

Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday 9 AM - 6 PM PST (USA). A service team member will respond within 24-48 hours to file the return form and advise next steps, including where to ship the return. Products must be returned in its original packaging with receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

Once the Products have been returned and inspected at our facility a refund will be filed. Please allow 7-10 business days from when we receive the returned Products from you or you supply evidence of having sent back the Products (whichever is earlier) for refunds to be credited back to your original form of payment. 

If you have selected any enhanced delivery methods when submitting your order, we will not refund you the difference between our standard delivery rates and the additional amount paid for any enhanced delivery method.

Cancelling your order where we have made an error or changed our terms or the products

You can also cancel your order if:

• we have made changes to the Products or the Terms and Conditions to which you do not agree;

• we have told you about an error in the price or description of the Products you have ordered and you do not wish to proceed;

• we have suspended supply of the Products for technical reasons, or notify you we are going to suspend them for technical reasons, in each case for a period of more than 30 days;

• there is a risk that supply of the Products may be significantly delayed; or

• you have a legal right to cancel because of something we have done wrong.

If you end the agreement for one of the reasons set out above, we will refund you any amounts that you have already paid to us in respect of those Products, subject to any deductions outlined in the Refunds section above, or that may otherwise be allowed by law.

Cancelling your order if we have done something wrong

If the Products are faulty, mis-described or not fit for purpose, and we are unable to repair or replace the Products within a reasonable time, you may be able to cancel the contract and obtain a full refund (including any delivery charges and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us). Please see paragraph 16 of the Terms and Conditions for more information about our responsibility to you in respect of the Products, including repairs, replacements and returns of faulty or mis-described Products, or Products that are not fit

 

Shipping charges

Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a Product are generally non-refundable except as set out below.

You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the Product during shipping to SLMD Skincare.

We will not charge you the costs of returning the Products if you cancel the contract because:

  • the Products are faulty, mis-described or not fit for purpose and we are unable to repair or replace them within a reasonable time;
  • we have told you of an upcoming change to the product or these terms, an error in pricing or description, a delay in delivery due to events outside of our control; or
  • you otherwise have a legal right to cancel your order,

in which case we will refund any reasonable direct costs you incur in returning the Products. In all other circumstances you will be responsible for the costs of returning the Products.

Damaged items

If you received a damaged item, please contact the SLMD service team as soon as possible to resolve the issue. If you believe that your order is received damaged or defective, please submit images of the damaged item, original SLMD packaging (including the box the order was shipped in with the label visible) in order to best assist you. 

  

Sale items

Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Only regular price items can be refunded.

Please note, returns can take up to 10 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) to process upon reaching our facility. Once your return is processed and your refund is issued, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your credit card account. This varies depending on your financial institution.
